Prints & Editions

What makes limited edition prints exclusive?

A limited edition print is an artwork produced in a predefined, limited quantity. Each print is signed and numbered by the artist, and no additional prints will be made in that format once the edition sells out. This exclusivity enhances the artwork’s value and collectible nature.

In other words, limited editions are strictly capped at the stated number of prints per photograph within a series, and this exclusivity is tied to both the specific printing method and the series itself.

All limited edition photographs are signed by us and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity (COA). Depending on the shipment destination, the COA may arrive with or separately from the artwork.

What is a Certificate of Authenticity?

A Certificate of Authenticity (COA) is a document signed by us, the artist, verifying that your print is an original work. It includes details such as the title, edition number, printing method, and the artist’s signature. This document should be stored safely in a secure location separate from the artwork.

What edition number will I receive when I purchase a limited edition print?

The currently available edition number in the series is automatically selected and assigned to the next buyer. If you'd like to know which edition number is currently available for a specific print, please email us for details at contact@vemwell.art.

How do you guarantee the quality and authenticity of your artwork?

Each limited edition print undergoes a rigorous inspection by us, our professional printers, and, if applicable, our framers. Once approved, the print is signed and numbered by us, the artist. Additionally, every print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA), ensuring its originality.

Do you offer artist proofs?

Yes, each limited edition includes a small number of artist proofs per photograph. These are primarily reserved for our use and may be used for exhibitions, archives, or our personal collection. Artist proofs are clearly labeled as such and are highly collectible. In rare events, they may be available for collectors to purchase.

Pricing

How does limited edition pricing work?

The price of a limited edition print increases with each edition sold. Therefore, the first print of an edition is always the lowest priced.

Returns & Damage

What is your return policy?

Due to the nature of fine art, all sales are final and non-refundable. Returns are not accepted.

What if the artwork or frame is damaged when I receive it?

We take great care to ensure that your artwork arrives safely. However, in rare cases out of our control, damage during transit may occur. If your artwork arrives damaged, you must file a damage claim with us within 3 days of delivery. After this period, we cannot make a claim with the shipping carrier and will be unable to assist you.

Please open and inspect your artwork immediately upon receiving it.

To file a damage claim with us and ensure the process goes smoothly, please follow these steps:

  1. Upon delivery, inspect the outside of the package for visible damage and note it when signing for the shipment.

  2. Take clear photos of the damaged package before opening it.

  3. Carefully unpack your order and take photos of all damaged areas on the artwork or frame.

  4. Email the photos to us at contact@vemwell.art, and include your complete contact information, including your address and the subject line “Damaged Artwork Shipping.”
