Limited Editions
To protect the integrity and exclusivity of our artwork, all of our series are limited edition. Each photograph is a limited edition of three. After the last edition of a photograph is sold, it will never be printed in the same format again. This exclusivity ensures the value and rarity of an original by Vemwell.

Certificate of Authenticity
Every limited edition print is signed and numbered by us, the artist, accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) to verify its originality. This signature and certificate ensure that your print is an authentic Vemwell artwork and serves as an important document for provenance. We recommend storing it separately from the artwork itself in a safe place as an extra precaution.
Museum-Quality Standards & Archival Excellence
Our limited edition fine art prints are crafted with precision, care, and a commitment to excellence.
Our commitment to museum-quality standards across all materials used ensures the lasting quality of our artwork. We utilize two prestigious printing methods for our work: Piezography and Platinum Palladium.
Within any single series we employ a single printing method, which is specified within each series.
Our Printing Methods
Our Piezography Prints
Departing from traditional darkroom processes, Piezography is a modern approach to fine art printmaking that maintains the timeless beauty and depth of traditional printing methods. It is the choice of many master photographers and printmakers worldwide because it combines the flexibility of digital printing with the archival quality and unique beauty of traditional printing.
All-Carbon Inks
This process utilizes seven shades of carbon-based black and grey inks, compared to the standard two or three shades in traditional inkjet printers, and enables printing of 64,000 shades of grey. This results in extreme tonal depth, detail, and precision. With this extreme detail in every tonal zone, images are rendered with unmatched depth and dimension.
Astounding Depth & Unparalleled Versatility
Piezography achieves extraordinary control over highlights, shadows, and midtones, producing images with an incredible tonal range. This printing method allows for precise control over every tonal zone, enabling stunningly accurate grayscale reproductions that rival the beauty only found in traditional printmaking. With this extreme detail in every tonal zone, these prints have unmatched depth and dimension.
Archival Permanence
Thanks to the pure carbon inks, these prints are incredibly stable and far outlast traditional pigment-based inks. The only limiting factor for longevity is the durability of the paper itself, making these prints capable of lasting for hundreds of years without fading.
Why Piezography?
Invented by Jon Cone in the early 1990s, Pozography represents the pinnacle of contemporary fine art printing. We’ve chosen this process for its one-of-a-kind quality, permanence, and ability to faithfully render our artistic vision.
Our Platinum Palladium Prints
For over a century, Platinum Palladium printing has been revered as one of the most prestigious and enduring methods of printmaking. Chosen by many of history’s most celebrated photographers for their most important and intimate works, this process remains the gold standard for unparalleled quality and permanence.
A Legacy of Excellence
Platinum Palladium printing has been the choice of master photographers such as Paul Strand, Laura Gilpin, Irving Penn, and Alfred Stieglitz. Despite its painstaking process, expense, and scarcity, this method has consistently been prized by photographers for its ability to convey exquisite tonal warmth and unparalleled detail. Today, contemporary masters continue to favor Platinum Palladium for its incredible beauty and archival integrity.
Unmatched Quality
This printing process dramatically reveals layers of detail and luminosity that cannot be achieved through any other method. With remarkable tonal range, even the darkest shadows hold detail, while the highlights exude an inviting richness. The visual depth and tactile quality of Platinum Palladium prints create an immersive experience as though one could step into the scene itself.
Archival Permanence
Platinum and Palladium metals are more stable than gold, and unlike other processes, these metals become embedded directly into the fibers of the paper. This unique characteristic ensures exceptional permanence, with an archival lifespan exceeding 1,500 years when paired with the right paper. The result is a print that will endure as a legacy piece for generations.
Why Platinum-Palladium?
Similar to Piezopgraphy, the meticulous ability and quality of Platinum Palladium printing have made it an obvious choice for us to include in our chosen printmaking methods. We’ve chosen this process for its unparalleled quality, having the greatest archival quality amongst all printing methods, and its lifelike rendering of our work.
